James Cueva grew up in Miami, Florida. James earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 1998. He earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law cum laude in May 2003 and was admitted to practice by the Florida Supreme Court in September 2003. James has spent his entire legal career in South Florida appearing in federal and state courts on behalf of clients in Palm Beach, Broward, Lee, Collier, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. James has represented clients in jury trials in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
James has experience in a wide variety of legal issues, which enables him to counsel clients in a wide range of matters from real estate transactions, family and divorce issues to helping small businesses owners with compliance and risk mitigation, including representing employers in wage and hour disputes and alleged employment discrimination claims to risk management consulting. Having practiced law over the course of the past twenty (20) years in South Florida, James has built an extensive personal network of attorneys representing clients in a number of legal specialties, including personal and corporate tax matters, probate, wills, trusts and estates, and other areas.
